Trek from the Dead Sea to Petra
Now in its third year, the Children’s Hospice Trekking Challenge is back! Join us as we explore the dry, arid but yet breathtaking desert landscape of Jordan – a land full of mystery and ancient ruins. This spectacular hike through the Arabian Desert will be stunning, as we trek with our Bedouin guides through areas of amazing solitude and great beauty.
Our challenge starts with a float in the Dead Sea – the lowest point on earth, then continues with a challenging, yet exciting 3 day trek from the bottom of valleys to the top of mountains, across deserts, through narrow cliffs and across dry river beds. This challenging route will eventually lead us to our goal and finish line – the red rock city of Petra – one of the new Seven Wonders of the World!
