Douglas House has seven beds in total, including one emergency bed. There are also three family suites so that the whole family can stay at the same time.
Who uses Douglas House?
While Helen & Douglas House has a Christian foundation we welcome families of all faiths or none.
The Douglas House Team
The Douglas House Care Team is available 24 hours a day and there is always a doctor on call.
The Care Team includes a small team of doctors; nurses trained in various branches of adult care, including learning disability; experienced carers, both male and female; physiotherapists; aromatherapists; a chaplain and others.
