Robert Sumerling and his son, Oli have just finished collecting their sponsorship for their End to End cycle ride, which they achieved last year. They raised a fantastic �2839 for Helen & Douglas House. The ride was a bit quicker than the final collection taking just 19 days!
Their neice and cousin, Kath Moss, is one of the many parents helped by the care team at Helen House where her son, Harry goes for respite care.

Sixty seven year old Marion Jones undertook the same journey in May in memory of her late husband Alan, who died of cancer in 2003. Alan managed the same journey at the age of 71 in 2001.
Marion decided to raise money for Douglas House as she wanted to help a charity, which helps people with cancer and other terminal illnesses, particularly young people. Marion raised over �2000 - an amazing total!
