To celebrate its 10th anniversary, 'And So To Bed' Oxford held a raffle in aid of Helen & Douglas House. The raffle raised a staggering £5,600! A huge thank you goes to the owners of the showroom in St Clements, Sandra and Patrick Clacy for donating the money to the charity.
Patrick said: We are thrilled to have raised such a large amount of money for such a worthy cause. We have long admired the work of Helen & Douglas House and are pleased to help." Thank you to all that took part in the raffle.
Very many thanks also to the winner of the main raffle prize, who donated the £4,000 mattress and bed to one of the family rooms at Helen & Douglas House.
A very kind offer made by the Managing Director of Tempur, to replace all the mattresses at the hospice, is also very gratefully acknowledged.
