- Holding a 'casual clothes' day, with everyone paying £1 to wear what they want for the day
- Taking part in Children's Hospice Week
- Holding a lesson on the work of Children's Hospices, then brainstorming ways to raise funds!
We'll provide you with everything you need, from sponsor forms and stickers through to collecting tins and lots of information on Helen & Douglas House.
The Channel Challenge Swimathon
Helen & Douglas House is inviting schools to take on the Channel Challenge!
In this wet and wild fundraising activity we challenge your school to swim a combined number of lengths to equal the width of the Channel which is 21 miles. Pupils can swim varying numbers of lengths depending on their abilities; we can also send you information about shorter challenges if the Channel is too much!
If you would like to take part in the Channel Challenge all you need to do is find a swimming pool to use, choose a date for your event and download the information below.

We can also send you a 15 minute DVD about Helen & Douglas House which you could show in Assembly.
