What difference your gift could make:
- £1,800 keeps one of our two hydrotherapy spas in good working order for a whole year. They are in high demand, with over 250 guests using the pools, many of whom spend a lot of time either in bed or in a wheelchair, and the feeling of weightlessness and release they experience is priceless.
- £3,235 is the average cost for a family of four to stay at Helen & Douglas House for a four day, medically assisted short break, providing much needed respite and relief in a fun and friendly home-from-home environment.
- £10,000 funds the nursing/care team costs of one of the houses for three days – that’s 72 hours of care tailored to the individual, with support given to the whole family.
- £30,000 helps cover the cost of employing a nurse, who not only makes sure guests’ strict medical regimes are followed, but that Helen & Douglas House is also a place to have fun, somewhere to make friends and be yourself.
- £100,000 allows us to plan for the future, ensuring that the families who rely on our support do not need to journey alone, and can be secure in knowing they will have continuity of care, whenever they need it.
