Becoming a member of the Helen & Douglas House team gives you a chance to make a real difference to the lives of children and young adults with life shortening conditions.
You might be working on our care team offering one-to-one care on a daily basis, or as a member of our support services working within the houses, or as a member of our retail team based in the community that supports us. Whatever your role, you can be sure your contribution will be of real value.
All members of staff working within Helen House and Douglas House come into contact with the children, young adults and families. This might be as a day-to-day part of your role, or just over lunch. There will be sad times, but a strong team and lots of support help us to focus on the families when they need us.
More often than not you will find Helen & Douglas House a vibrant and rewarding place to work. As well as your day-to-day role you could find yourself taking part in a fundraising activity, or joining in with a party at one of the houses.
