Sister Frances Dominica, the founder of Helen & Douglas House and the children’s hospice movement, will be joined by the Mayor of Reading, Councillor Deborah Edwards, to officially open the shop.

The Neal family from Woodley, Berkshire, who visit Helen House with Hayley for short medically-supported respite stays, will also be there to join in the fun.

Pupils from Caversham Primary School choir will sing carols, celebrating the opening.
