The X Factor charity single is officially number one in the UK top 40 chart.
‘Wishing on a Star’, a cover of the Rose Royce classic sung by the last sixteen contestants along with JLS and One Direction, has topped the singles chart.
More than 98,000 thousand singles have been sold with all net record company proceeds going to Together for Short Lives who represent children’s hospices and services across the UK. Profits raised by the single are to be divided up and will benefit Helen & Douglas House.
