Helen & Douglas House is opening a ‘pop up’ vintage and retro’ shop on the Banbury Road, next door to its original shop in Summertown, Oxford, on Monday, 23rd January, at 10.30 am. Sister Frances Dominica, Founder and Trustee of the charity and the Lord Mayor of Oxford, Elise Benjamin, will launch the shop.
Frank Underwood, one half of duo ‘Austentation’, will be providing suitably ‘vintage’ music for the opening.
David Cryer, Head of Retail Helen & Douglas House said; ‘Vintage and retro’ clothing is very popular and we have a great supply of clothes and accessories to appeal to all tastes. We hope people will enjoy browsing and shopping here and help us raise much needed funds for the charity.’
The pop-up shop should be open for a minimum of 6 months.
