The 27th Helen & Douglas House shop opened in Wokingham, Berkshire on Tuesday, 19 January. The shop was opened by Sister Frances, the founder of Helen & Douglas House. The shop is at 2 Peach Street, RG40 1XG.

Sister Frances was assisted in cutting the ribbon by a representative from a children's non-profit organisation in Japan, that is currently raising funds to build the first children's hospice in Japan. The group had spent time at Helen & Douglas House to learn more about how the charity operates and to get advice and guidelines.
