Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave CBE, joined Sister Frances Dominica OBE, the founder and trustee of Helen & Douglas House, to open the charity’s new shop at 19 Spittal Street, Marlow, on Monday, 13 July.

Sir Steve was also joined by Dawn Evans from Marlow, who is about to embark on an epic sailing experience; the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, in aid of Helen & Douglas House.

Sir Steve said: ‘It is an honour to be invited to open the shop in Marlow. I have visited Helen & Douglas House and have seen the remarkable work that is done there with the children, young adults and their families. I would urge anyone to support the charity in any way they can.’
