David Cameron, leader of the Conservative Party and MP for Witney, visited the Helen & Douglas House shop in Carterton on 16 April 2009.   It was a private visit to meet staff, volunteers and customers at the shop. Mr Cameron spent time chatting with everyone and said how important the work of Helen & Douglas House was.
