A team of 4 cyclists from Didcot B Power Station cycled 500 miles over 5 days, visited RWE npower sites along the way at Aberthaw, Swindon, Didcot A & B and Little Barford to help raise funds for Helen & Douglas House.

The team left on Saturday 31st July from Pembroke, to be greeted by their colleagues at Great Yarmouth with champagne and a cheque for £500, 5 days later. Staff at Great Yarmouth had raised £1 for each mile the team cycled.

All other stations visited also raised funds to support the team, to be divided between Helen & Douglas House and British Heart Foundation. We are very grateful to staff at Didcot A & B for voting to support their local hospice for children and young adults and to the cyclists for enduring so many long hours in the saddle.
