Frances Reid, the manager of the Helen & Douglas House Covered Market shop in Oxford, had a surprise when a Weymss tray she bought at an auction and donated to Helen & Douglas House, was valued at £800- £1,200 at the Antiques Roadshow. The show was filmed at Hertford College at the end of June and broadcast in the autumn. The tray is to be auctioned in aid of the charity at a specialist Weymss auction with Lyon & Turnbull in Edinburgh on 26 August.
