Shoppers can either get started on their Christmas shopping early or come to treat themselves from this unique selection of 65 stalls. 100% of all entry fees, raffle ticket sales and monies received from the stallholders are shared between three local charities – Cynthia Spencer Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and Helen & Douglas House.
Date: Wednesday 26th September 5pm – 9pm
Thursday 27th September 9am – 3.30pm
Entry fee: £5, tickets available on the door. Payment for entrance is by cash or cheque.
Location: The Orangery & Pavillion, Whittlebury Park, Whittlebury Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 8XW.
The Whittlebury Charity Fair started out 17 years ago as a MacMillan coffee morning at a friend’s house, over the years it has grown and grown. They now hold the fair on the last Wednesday and Thursday in September at The Orangery and Pavilion, Whittlebury Park and have about 65 stallholders.
Over the years The Whittlebury Charity Fair has raised in excess of £185,000 for various charities (with the monies always being spent locally). They are still a very small committee of 6 friends and every penny that they raise is donated to charity.
Some, though not all, stallholders have credit card facilities. So, to ensure you are not disappointed, please come armed with your cheque book too. They are unable to take credit card payment for entry but they are able to cash your cheques for you should you run short whilst shopping.
