Join us for our charity motorbike ride out where you will cruise 100 miles from Harley Davidson in Oxford to Willen hospice in Milton Keynes and back again, on Sunday 4th July to raise money for your local children’s hospice.
This is your chance to get out and about again after lockdown and enjoy the beautiful Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire countryside, whilst getting together with other bikers and raising money for a great local charity.
As this is a charity ride, it’s the perfect opportunity to dress up and put your fancy gear on or fancy dress if you would like to although this is optional. Wear whatever you want, just make sure you’ve got your leathers on underneath.
You will have a choice of wave time during the morning and there will be refreshments available for a small donation at Willen Hospice where you can have a well-earned break half- way and at the end of your road trip, with a chance chat to other bikers.
It is just £12 to sign up which includes tea or coffee and a delicious breakfast item at the start of the ride. All we ask is that you raise £50 or more to help local terminally ill children like Toby.
Toby is seven years-old and lives at home in Buckinghamshire with his mummy and daddy, Kim and Tim. He has a complex neurological condition called Dravet Syndrome, which means he experiences very frequent and severe seizures. Tim said: ‘Helen & Douglas House picked us up out of a deep dark hole and got us on our feet again. The breaks at the hospice keep us sane. They allow us to be the people we are. We’d fall apart without it.’
