Dine at Mine

Something exciting is happening on Saturday 13th October 2018! Hundreds of people will be swapping a meal out for a meal in and donating what they would have spent on a meal to Helen & Douglas House. Don’t worry if you can’t do that date, you can choose a date which suits you.

It can be very lonely when you have a child with a life-shortening condition so Dine at Mine is a way of bringing your families, friends or work colleagues together to smile, laugh, catch-up and have fun together just like we do at the hospice.

As a charity, this year we need to raise £3.6m and we cannot do this without your help through fundraising events like this.

Could you get together for a meal to help local terminally ill children?

Sign up today to hear from one of our community fundraisers who can help you with ideas, tips, and advice.

What is Dine at Mine?

We’re asking amazing supporters like you to host a meal in aid of Helen & Douglas House. Every meal, however large or small, will make a big difference to the lives of local terminally ill children like Lily-Mae.

Your Dine at Mine meal could be a small gathering at your house for lunch, a girls’ night with beauty treatments or a black-tie dinner at your village hall.

You can choose what time of day to hold your meal and whether to invite friends, family or work colleagues. You can prepare the meal yourself or ask your guests to bring a dish.
