Trek for charity this October! Your participation in our fundraising walk could help us raise money for local terminally ill children and young adults.
Stretching over 5,500 miles the Great Wall of China is a remarkable feat of construction and architecture with a history spanning more than 2000 years. The wall, the longest human-made structure on the planet, is located in the North of China and crosses vast deserts, barren plains and snow-capped mountains. Originally built for fortification against invasions from the north, it was once of great strategic importance, today it is counted as one of the seven wonders of the world!
Join us as we explore the legendary Great Wall of China on this fantastic trekking challenge.
Dates: 27th October – 4th November 2018
Minimum Age: 18 (16 when accompanied by an adult)
Please note, subject to availability we are able to take bookings up to the 17th August 2018. Prices and dates may be slightly different but will be confirmed prior to booking.
Why should you put on your trekking shoes for Helen & Douglas House?
Your participation in our fundraising events is going to make a real difference to us – we care for terminally ill babies, children, young people, and their families through exceptional hospice care.
We rely on the generosity of the public to keep our doors open, with voluntary donations making up the majority of the £3 million every year we need to find to run the hospice service.
