Will Writing Week 2017

Will writing to help local terminally ill children like Josh

From 11th-17th September you can write a basic Will with any of the solicitors below who have given their services for free and help local families who visit Helen & Douglas House. All we ask is that you make a minimum donation of £50 for a single Will or £100 for a joint Will. 100% of this money will go to help local families with terminally ill children and young adults like Josh who come to Helen & Douglas House.

Josh is 4 years old and has brain damage as well as cerebral palsey, caused by lack of oxygen at birth.

‘Coming to Helen House has made all the difference in the world to Josh and us as a family. Josh loves it there but more than that; by helping us as parents and giving us respite, advice, emotional support and medical guidance, we are so much better able to care for Josh.’ – Clare, Josh’s Mum

Gifts in Wills are crucial to us and leaving us a legacy means we can be here for the families now and in the future. It doesn’t matter how large or small a gift is, every penny will make a real and lasting difference to local families.

All you need to do is contact one of our participating solicitors directly to book in an appointment for Will Writing Week.
