Do you need to write a Will and have not got around to it? If so why not contact one of our participating solicitors during Will Writing Week 10th-16th September 2018 and help local families who come to Helen & Douglas House.
You can write a basic Will with any of the solicitors below who have kindly given their services for free. All we ask is that you make a minimum donation of £100 for a single Will or £150 for a joint Will. Your donation will go to help local families with terminally ill children and young adults like Josh who come to Helen & Douglas House.
Josh is 5 years old and has brain damage as well as cerebral palsy, caused by lack of oxygen at birth.
‘Coming to Helen House has made all the difference in the world to Josh and us as a family. Josh loves it there but more than that; by helping us as parents and giving us respite, advice, emotional support and medical guidance, we are so much better able to care for him.’ – Clare, Josh’s Mum
No matter how large or small your donation is, every penny will make a real and lasting difference to local families helping terminally ill children live life to the full.
Why write a Will?
Drafting a Will gives you the peace of mind that your family and friends will be looked after when you are gone. It also means your loved ones have fewer decisions to make and minimises the potential for disputes and claims on your estate. We strongly recommend you visit a solicitor to ensure that your wishes for your family and other beneficiaries are clear.
