Our team works together to make a difference. At Helen & Douglas House, a career is more than just a job – it’s a passion.
Without a great team of staff and volunteers we could not provide the level of care and support for young patients and their families that we do. Are you ready to join a team that makes a difference? If you think that a hospice could be a challenging place to work you are right, but if you also think that giving your best and feeling a sense of achievement and worth every day is what you want from your working life, then consider joining the friendly team here at Helen & Douglas House.
The work you do will have a direct impact on babies, children and young adult’s short lives, so if you’re ready to explore your potential, Helen & Douglas House could be the place for you.
Each year, we need to raise over £5 million to keep our hospices open. Your skills and passion could help us achieve this while also making a difference to the lives of local terminally ill children and young adults to live their short lives to the full. Every single person has a special role to play. We all have individual qualities, skills and personalities that come together to make us who we are.
From nursing to admin and maintenance and lots more in-between, we have a range of opportunities within the hospice houses in Oxford and externally in our shops across our region and our retail warehouse in Aylesbury Bucks.
We offer great Terms & Conditions and for nurses currently working for the NHS continuation of service can be honoured. For more information visit here.
Job categories: Nursing; Maintenance; Driving; Admin; Housekeeping; Retail Management; Fundraising.
