The role of a Gardening Volunteer is to support our Gardening Services Team in maintaining the hospice grounds of Helen & Douglas House in Oxford for our patients and families as well staff and other volunteers. We are looking for people with a good working knowledge of plants, gardening techniques and practice.

If you have some basic DIY skills to cover any ad hoc maintenance jobs that may need doing, that too would be welcomed.
How do I get involved?
The commitment is flexible to suit you – you can do a three or four hour, morning or afternoon shift – or indeed a whole day if you are up to that – Monday to Friday during regular office hours. The opportunities available are for a regular weekly slot so you can become part of a team on that particular day.
