“I wanted to help Helen & Douglas House because my beautiful friend was poorly with cancer and then moved to Helen & Douglas House. I started fundraising because I wanted to help make the children there feel more comfortable and to give them some happy times. For my first bake sale, it took a day to bake all the cakes and half a day to ice them all, but it was absolutely worth it!”
