However much you choose to give, you will help provide care and support for the children, young people and families who stay with us. Give just £9 every month and you will, at the end of the year, have provided a whole day of one-to-one nursing care.
Your money is incredibly valuable. Every penny will be put towards providing support for the children, young adults and families who stay with us. Here are just some examples of what you could give to the young people and their families:
£14 will pay for an hour of 1-1 nursing care
£30 will pay for a music therapy session
£92 will pay for a bereaved family to have two support home visits
£1,800 will maintain one of our relaxing and soothing hydrotherapy spa pools

The Monkey Club
A Monkey is the slang term for £500 – an amount that works out to be a little over £41 a month.
We invite you to join the club for this amount for just one year and become part of a philanthropic group of people who have a real interest in the work of Helen and Douglas House. During your year of membership you will have the opportunity to learn more about the charity and attend an exclusive drinks party.
You may not think £41 a month buys very much these days.
- Maybe 8 glasses of wine for a group of friends in a wine bar?
- A jar of face cream?
- A tank of fuel?
Or
- Enough medical supplies for both Helen House and Douglas House for 2 days.
- Three hours for one of our trained team members to spend with a family whose child has died.

Our Regular Giving Fundraisers
