Hear from our incredible running community

“It was an absolute pleasure to run for Helen & Douglas House and I am so pleased the team was able to raise so much money. The support from Helen & Douglas House was unbelievable, even random people on the streets were shouting ‘Go Helen & Douglas House!’.

Thanks again for the support and for organising the training session, that was really cool.”

Chris, Oxford Half 2024 finisher

“I wasn’t a runner. In fact, I’d never even imagined doing a marathon. But something about Paris wouldn’t let go of me. The art, the streets, the challenge. So I signed up. Many sore legs and months of training later, I crossed that finish line hand in hand with my husband.

I most definitely experienced runners high in that moment, and it was the pinnacle of everything we had been training for!”

Charlotte, Paris Marathon 2025 finisher

“As a complete new runner the training and support I was given was amazing and every question was answered.

The help with fundraising tips and materials was really helpful in reaching the target easily. Stop thinking and do it ! This was the best experience in my life and one that I will treasure forever.

Paul, London Marathon 2024 finisher
