How to donate
Save your clothes and furniture from landfill while giving them a new home.
Make a difference with your pre-loved stuff
Did you know that just one bag of donated clothes can be worth an average of £30?
With Gift Aid adding an extra 25%, it’s a great way to turn your unwanted clothes into a way of helping others. 50 bags of donations would raise enough to pay for all the medical supplies for our hospice for two months.
Turn your pre-loved items into treasure at our charity shops
Here are just some of the things you can donate to help improve the lives of local terminally ill children and their families:
- Jewellery
- Clothes and shoes
- Bags and accessories
- Puzzles, books, games, toys, music and media
- Small electrical appliances (no white goods please)
- Homeware, bric-a-brac, china
- Gift sets and new beauty products
- Quality furniture, from sofas to beds (we’ll even collect your furniture for you – just call your nearest furniture shop)
Find your nearest shop
As we continue to open up our shops, our trading hours and donation days in each shop will vary so please do check before travelling.
Detox your wardrobe, make a difference
Giving your wardrobe a detox can be just as rewarding as it is liberating. Read our top tips on how to become a savvy sorter and help local terminally ill children live their lives to the full.
Safety standards
Please check all upholstered items have a label saying it meets UK safety standards. Mattresses & upholstered bed bases must be in a good, clean condition with no rips, tears or stains, and must have a fire label. Toys & electricals must have the CE mark for safety.

Make your donation go further
If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can make your donation go further by filling in a Gift Aid declaration form when you donate things to us. It’s easy and costs you nothing, but it means we can claim back 25p in tax from every £1 your donation brings in.
Find the Gift Aid form on the link below
