Did you know that your chances of winning the National Lottery are just 1 in 45 million? With odds like that, you’re much better off playing the Local Hospice Lottery! Not only do you get the chance to win up to £25,000, but you can play knowing that you’re doing something to help local terminally ill children and their families.
As well as having much better odds of winning the jackpot, the Local Hospice Lottery also has lots of other cash prizes up for grabs. You’ll have the chance to win £2,000 every week, and on Super Draws you could win £10,000!
One number costs just £1 per week, so it’s an easy and affordable way to support our work caring for families going through the heartbreak of losing a child.
Join the Local Hospice Lottery in support of Helen & Douglas House today! Simply click here or call Freephone 0800 316 0645.
Prizes are issued automatically each week, so you don’t even need to worry about remembering to check your numbers or claim any prizes. However, winning numbers are available each week on the Local Hospice Lottery.
How your money helps
When you play the Local Hospice Lottery, you’re helping us to continue providing the love and care our families depend on when they’re facing the toughest times of their lives.
Playing just £1 a week helps us to raise £400,000 over two years from April 2016, and we receive a much greater proportion of the proceeds than we would from the National Lottery or Health Lottery.
Helen & Douglas House is one of a number of hospices throughout Great Britain who are supported by Local Hospice Lottery and all profits are donated to hospice care. By sharing management costs and overheads, Local Hospice Lottery is able to offer both a larger prize fund to players and provide more money for hospice care. After marketing costs, Helen & Douglas House will receive between 55% and 80% of proceeds from individuals playing in support of Helen & Douglas House.
A full list of the charities supported, along with full terms and conditions and a players’ guide, are available on the Local Hospice Lottery website, or upon request from ‘Freepost Local Hospice Lottery’.
To help us to recruit players, a team of door-to-door sales representatives will be working throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. Each member of the team will be wearing a uniform and will have a Local Hospice Lottery photo identity card. You can also view members of the team on the Local Hospice Lottery website by clicking here.
