Break

Why should you put on your running shoes for Helen & Douglas House?

Your participation in our fundraising events is going to make a real difference to us – we care for terminally ill babies, children, young people, and their families through exceptional hospice care.

We rely on the generosity of the public to keep our doors open, with voluntary donations making up the majority of the £3.6m we need to find this year to run the hospice service.

‘Running a marathon was the ultimate challenge for me, and something that I will never forget. The training was gruelling at times but I took inspiration from the children and their families, who deal with their own challenge so bravely and with such resilience’. Dr Emily, Consultant in Paediatric Palliative Care & Medical Director at Helen & Douglas House.
