Events for families
Our family events are here for families to create moments and spaces where loved ones can come together to share, reflect, and support one another.We offer a variety of supportive and friendly events to help families connect. These range from our summer party and sibling groups to our annual remembrance event, as well as family-focused fundraising activities.
Upcoming dates are listed here to help you plan ahead. Please note: these dates are all by invitation-only, may be subject to change, and places are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Some events are tailored to specific groups or support needs. Further details and an invite to events that are suitable for your family will be sent to you. If you have any questions, please contact the relevant team.

These dates are relevant to families who are currently receiving our care.
Early Years Morning
Our Early Years morning is suitable for families supported by Helen & Douglas House with children aged 0-4 years.

Play Team event dates
Throughout the year we have regular Stay & Play days, as well as seasonal parties. These play events are only suitable for the children and families who are currently receiving our care and by invitation only.

Youth & Transition event dates
The youth and transition events are suitable to young people who are currently receiving our care aged 13-19 years.

Siblings Team event dates
Sibling support is available to families who are currently receiving, or have previously received our care and/or support. *Some dates are only suitable for certain age groups.

Community and Family Support Services events
The support and events run by our CaFSS team are available to families following the death of their child.
- Forget Me Not bereavement support group: Various
- Remembrance & Celebration Events: Sat 26th & Sun 27th Sept 2026 – invites will be sent Summer 2026
- Keepsake Circle: working with families in 2025, with the concert taking place in February 2026
