Shop with us

Shop with us and help local families dealing with terminal illness

Helen & Douglas House cares for local terminally ill babies, children, and their families in our hospice in Oxford and at home. As a charity, our shops provide 20% of the £3.6 million income we need each year to keep providing this invaluable support to families facing the unimaginable prospect of losing a child. Each time you shop with us, you’re helping us to help local families make the most of the precious time they have left together.

Important notice

Shop closure: As a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all of our shops closed on Friday 20 March 2020, until further notice. During this time we are UNABLE to accept donations to the shop or collect and deliver furniture, in order to protect our staff, volunteers and the public. When it is safe to do so, we will reopen and when we do we look forward to welcoming you back to our shops.

During this time PLEASE DO NOT leave any donations outside our shops while they are closed. Please keep them until we re-open so they can be used to raise money to help local terminally ill children.

As a charity, we rely almost entirely on financial support from the public to fund our work. So now, more than ever, we need your help, if you can please make a financial donation to Helen & Douglas House to help us care for local terminally ill children and their families. Thank you and stay well.
