At Helen & Douglas House, we’re incredibly lucky to be supported by a community of corporate partners who share our commitment to helping children with terminal and life-shortening conditions live life to the full.
These partnerships go far beyond fundraising. From volunteering their time, taking on a challenge and creating unforgettable experiences for the children and families we support, our partners play a vital role in helping us provide compassionate care and create precious memories.
We’re proud to work alongside organisations that are passionate about giving back and making a real difference. In this blog, we’re shining a spotlight on just a few of our amazing corporate partners and celebrating the impact we’ve achieved together.
Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team
We are so proud to be entering the second year of our partnership with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, the eight-time Formula One World Champions.
From football matches to karting nights, marathons and even skydives – the team has thrown themselves (sometimes literally!) into raising vital funds for Helen & Douglas House. But it’s not just fundraising. Mercedes F1 have created unforgettable moments for our families, bringing their show car to the hospice and even giving some of our children the once‑in‑a‑lifetime chance to meet Kimi and George at the British Grand Prix.
Their generosity has reached every corner of our community. They’ve donated raffle prizes, arranged gifts for the children at the hospice and visited our teenagers at a Network Saturday event where they spent time chatting with our young people, hearing their stories and then pulled off the ultimate wow‑moment by showing them real driver suits, helmets, and car parts.
Mercedes F1 Team said: “While we race across the globe, our local community is incredibly important to us. We’re incredibly proud to support Helen & Douglas House and have seen first‑hand the difference they make.”
GHM Communications
GHM Communications are now entering their fourth year as a dedicated corporate partner.
From Tough Mudder and the Manchester and London Marathons, to their legendary annual football match and festive donations in place of Christmas cards, the GHM team never shy away from a challenge. Their partnership brings together colleagues, customers and their wider business network, all rallying behind a cause they care about.
Mary Parker, HR Manager at GHM said: “Every business in Oxfordshire knows what an amazing charity Helen & Douglas House is. The relationship just goes from strength to strength. Our team gets to try new things, challenge themselves and support a charity that’s become intrinsic to our values.”
Redrow South Midlands
Since 2025, Redrow South Midlands has raised more than £45,000 for Helen & Douglas House through two fantastic fundraising events. Their Golf Day saw teams of their employees, contractors and suppliers come together for a great day of golf, food and friendly competition, and their Hollywood-themed Charity Ball was a dazzling success filled with entertainment and glamour.
Both events featured a variety of fundraising activities including games, competitions, raffles and auctions, helping to maximise support for their local children’s hospice.
Redrow South Midlands also benefited from match-funding at each event, boosting their fundraising and deepening the impact they have on the children and families we support.
Redrow South Midlands Team said: “We have enjoyed supporting Helen & Douglas House, knowing that every effort helps provide care, comfort, and compassion to children and families who need it most. Our team have benefitted from understanding the wonderful work Helen and Douglas do and really enjoyed raising funds at our events. The support from the team has been exceptional; they have guided us through every stage and consistently attended events to assist us.”
Drain Technology
Drain Technology has been dedicated to supporting Helen & Douglas House since 2022, following a personal connection to a family who received care from our hospice. Drain Technology generously donate £1 for every job they complete, as well as taking part in our Helen & Douglas House run events, including entering a team and being a sponsor at our Golf Day in 2025.
Through their ongoing support, the fantastic team at Drain Technology has raised more than £17,000 and counting. This incredible contribution could fund a bed at Helen House for a month, helping us provide vital care and support to local children and their families in need of our care.
