At Helen & Douglas House, we know how important it is to celebrate and remember loved ones, especially at Christmas.
The Tree of Light is a place to honour the lives of those we hold dear and let their light shine on. Add a loved one's name, photo, and a message to the virtual tree below. You can also make an optional donation to support Helen & Douglas House this Christmas.
How it works

Step 2: Click Select & Dedicate
Step 3: Personalise your light with a name, message and a photo. You can also make a donation.
Step 4: As well as being displayed on the virtual tree shown below, you can choose to have your loved one's name handwritten on a paper bauble and hung on our physical Tree of Light at Helen & Douglas House during the festive period. After the festive period comes to a close, the paper baubles will be composted in the hospice garden, allowing them to become part of our grounds in future years and support growth in a space that gives families visiting the hospice so much joy.
The difference your donation could make
When a family enters our hospice, we build a new kind of support, just for them.
This is lifelong, all-encompassing care for a child, so that families never have to face this journey alone.
While we meet some families at their child's last Christmas, most of our work is supporting families throughout every magical Christmas in their child's life, as well as beyond it. We form relationships and collaborations, sometimes over many years, so that a family can build something of their own: memories together.
