The Tools of Our Trade
Everyone in the trade knows you need the right tools for the job.
It’s the same when caring for very unwell children, it’s just our ‘tools’ look a little different.
Partner with us to help give families the care and support they need, at the time they need it most.
When caring for very unwell children there often isn’t time to waste. By supporting Helen & Douglas House, you can help get the right tools, to the right people, at the right time to deliver the essential care local families need.
Our Toolbox
Could your business or workplace partner with us to help us fund the ‘tools’ we need to care for very unwell children?
Your support can help local families get the care they need, at the right time and in the right place for them.
£5,600
could fund eight weeks of essential medical supplies for the hospice
£9,361
could cover the cost of food for a quarter of the year
£14,971
could provide the hospice with Oxygen supply and delivery for a whole year
Why your business should support the Tools of Our Trade
- Because you are committed to supporting and giving back to your local community. Demonstrate this commitment to your customers and clients and achieve your CSR and ESG goals.
- Because you want to build your brand’s purpose. Your partnership with Helen & Douglas House will provide opportunities for you to showcase the impact your business is having on local families in need of care and support from their local children’s hospice.
- Because you care about inspiring and uniting employees, increasing employee engagement, retention, and morale. Research shows that employees of companies with charity initiatives had a significantly higher engagement and loyalty to their company.
Your support will help us be there for families like Nathan’s
Nathan has a life-limiting genetic condition that requires 24-hour care and has been supported by Helen & Douglas House since he was a baby. When he was rushed to hospital with a life-threatening illness in 2023, our Care Team were there for him and his family, ensuring they got the support they needed.
Jenny, Nathan’s mum, tells his story.
