Why should you put on your running shoes for Helen & Douglas House?

Your participation in Vitality 10,000 London is going to make a real difference to local terminally ill children and their families. It costs £3.6 million a year to run our hospice and provide our outreach nursing service to help families at home and we cannot do this without your help.

Josh experienced brain trauma at birth causing cerebral palsy. At our hospice, he and his family are able to find free of charge round-the-clock care in a warm, loving environment.

‘Coming to Helen House has made all the difference in the world to Josh and us as a family. Josh loves it there but more than that; by helping us as parents and giving us respite, advice, emotional support and medical guidance, we are so much better able to care for Josh.’ said Clare, Josh’s Mum
