Support families like Albie's

“Albie was 18 months old when he was diagnosed with a cancerous, unclassifiable brain tumour. After months of treatment, the cancer overtook, and at just 2 and a half years old he died.

Albie’s short life was full of so many amazing memories. He was a thrill seeker, ice-lolly eating, wild toddler who always kept us laughing and on our toes! He had a cheeky look and even through treatment, everyone was in awe of his magical little energy.

He was only at Helen & Douglas House for a short period of time, but it made a huge and positive impact on his end-of-life care and allowed him to die with more dignity and more support for us than we could have ever hoped for.”

– Laurie, Albie’s Mum. Laurie will be sharing more of Albie’s story at our Comedy Gala.
