How does AmazonSmile work?
For the donation to be triggered, you must visit smile.amazon.co.uk and designate Helen & Douglas House as the charity of your choice. When you buy qualifying items, AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price, excluding VAT, shipping fees and returns.
The choice of charity is made when you first visit the site but you can change your preference at any time.

How to set up AmazonSmile and choose Helen & Douglas House as your Charity

Sign in and choose your charity
If you’re not signed, enter your Amazon account email and password. On your first visit to smile.amazon.co.uk you need to select a charitable organisation to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Simply search for “Helen & Douglas House”.
You will be given a list of possible matches. Select “Helen & Douglas House”, Once selected, you will receive an email confirmation. Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.co.uk will result in a donation.

Millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations to charities by Amazon. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for smile.amazon.co.uk” on their product detail pages. Recurring Subscribe-and-Save purchases and subscription renewals are not currently eligible. No extra cost is passed onto you – Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchase to Helen & Douglas House.
