Helen House is open again – and we couldn’t be happier
We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that Helen House has reopened following the recent fire.
There is real joy in welcoming children and families back through our doors, and in seeing Helen House once again filled with warmth, care, laughter and the joyful activities that make it such a special place.
There are just a couple of temporary changes to make you aware of. Access to Helen House continues to be via the Douglas House garden gate as Helen House gate and front door still require some work.
There will be further testing next week where we will experience areas without power for short periods while they finalise testing for certification, but patient safety will not be compromised in any way because we have back up power supply via a generator.
