My name is Sammie and I’m a registered children’s nurse. I am a band 6 and my role at Helen & Douglas House is diverse and wonderful. It includes many responsibilities such as administering medicines, supporting staff and ensuring smooth running of the house day to day. However, the most important part is providing holistic, family centered care for children and young people in house. Every day is different, and I am entirely guided by the child and their needs, ensuring their day is full of fun and excitement.
