I am a Nursery Nurse and I work as part of the care team. I have worked at Helen & Douglas House for just over a year and previously worked in a nursery as a pre-school room manager. As a nursery nurse I am one to one with a child. I base the day around them and their routine, what they like to do and what they enjoy. It’s so personalised which is what makes the days so unique and different. My favourite thing to do is spending time in the sensory room and listening to music with the children, I love seeing the children’s faces light up as they explore using their senses.
